Consumer fraud and identify theft are the least of our concerns
I came across an interesting article in The Globe and Mail today that just made me shake my head in frustration.
“Plastic gets smart

The plastic in your wallet is getting a brain.
To combat fraud and encourage more consumers to shop online with more confidence, Visa, MasterCard and Canadian banks are upgrading more than 60 million credit and debit cards by adding a 13-millimetre square chip.
While the magnetic stripe on the back of the card will remain, the real power of the card rests with the chip, a self-contained processor programmed with account information and an “encrypted key” which, with a PIN, secures the transaction. It’s considered to be virtually unhackable, state-of-the-art security.”
For the time being, microchips will be carried in our wallets but sooner than later, the microchips will be carried under our skin. This is no longer science fiction my friends; the New World Order is gradually being ushered in (as promised).
Why are ‘they’ starting the process with credit cards you might ask? Because credit card holders are not the credit card owners; a credit card belongs to the corporation that issues it.
Social transformation (which does not incite public revolt) must be implemented in incremental steps; we are now one step closer to global imprisonment.
Is the facilitation of consumption worth the erosion of freedom?
Makes you wonder doesn’t it?

The technology for water powered vehicles has been suppressed
It is only a matter of time before a carbon tax is implemented nationally and internationally. Some will argue that this tax is good for the environment but I think it’s just another way for governments to profit from the manufacture of public fear and another way to maintain the existing status-quo, all while giving the illusion of change.
The following article was published in The Globe and Mail, June 29, 2008.
“B.C. carbon tax kicks in Canada Day
By DIRK MEISSNER – Canadian Press
VICTORIA — On Canada Day, British Columbians will likely be paying the highest gas prices in the country, thanks to a new provincial carbon tax that adds almost 2.5 cents to a litre of fuel and has turned service stations into the province’s latest political battle ground.
Motorists are doing more than filling up at their local gas stations. They’re fuming about gas politics.
Premier Gordon Campbell admits his government has a selling job to do on its new green tax, the first escalating consumer tax on carbon in Canada.”
The name of the inventor was Stan Meyer; see for yourself…
