Media subliminals are a myth right?

We often hear of subliminal messaging/images in advertising and the media in general. Subliminal messaging is real and pervasive. The reason why many people play down the notion that subliminal messaging in the media as a paranoid conspiracy theory is not because they are unaffected by it but rather because they are unaware.

I chuckled at myself after watching this video. For someone who prides themselves on the ability to pick up on hidden subliminal messages and distinguish fact from fiction…I was embarrassed at the FACT that I was NOT aware of the moon-walking bear! WOW, I guess I have to re-evaluate my self-proclaimed ability to pick up on media subliminals.
